BIO
I am a licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience and have owned my own private practice since 2015. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida (USF) and received both my Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology, Tampa (FSPP). I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY), University Counseling Center.
Throughout the course of my graduate training, I have gained extensive experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults at the Rothman Center for Pediatric Neuropsychiatry, children and adolescents at the Hillsborough County Public School System in Tampa, and adults at the University of South Florida and at Florida Southern College Counseling Centers.
My treatment approach is eclectic, often integrating various techniques, such as client-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral methods. I tailor my approach to each client and collaborate with them to develop the most appropriate treatment plan.
I provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults and have experience with couples, family, and group therapy. Throughout my training, I had the opportunity to work with numerous clients from varying backgrounds and cultural experiences, addressing issues such as adjustment problems, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, self-esteem issues, anger, trauma, bereavement, personality disorders, learning disabilities, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer psychological testing, including assessments for intellectual and achievement abilities, personality traits, and emotional functioning, as well as symptom checklists to evaluate learning disabilities and adjustment difficulties.
